Northern Ireland striker Liam Boyce has been named as Ladbrokes Premiership Player of the Month for April.
The 26-year-old managed six goals in five games for Ross County last month which included a magnificent four-goal salvo in the Highland derby success over Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The former Cliftonville forward has 20 Premiership goals to his name this term, just one behind the league’s leading scorer, Celtic’s Scott Sinclair.
This is the third time that Boyce has won the award having previously picked up the trophy in December 2015 and August last year.
Boyce, who still has a year left on his contract at Dingwall, is now in his third full season at Ross County and his impressive stats of 54 goals in 116 games for the club has fuelled speculation about his future.
Boyce said: “I try not to let it go to my head, (or) start trying to impress people that are watching you. I’m just happy to be here.
“I just try and forget about it and keep doing what I’m doing on the pitch.”
