Northern Ireland goalkeeper Alan Mannus has signed a one-year contract extension with Scottish Premiership side St. Johnstone.
The 35-year-old, who moved to McDiarmid Park from Shamrock Rovers in the summer of 2011, has made 202 appearances for the club and penned a new deal following St Johnstone’s defeat at home to Rangers on Sunday.
Mannus started off the season as the number one keeper for Tommy Wright’s side but lost his place back in August to Zander Clark before forcing his way back into the first-team reckoning at the start of April.
The vastly experienced former Linfield net-minder, who is an integral part of Michael O’Neill’s squad, has nine full international caps to his name the last of which came in the 3-0 friendly defeat to Croatia at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park back in November.
Meanwhile, under-19 international Shea Gordon has signed a one-year deal with Motherwell who are now managed by former Northern Ireland first-team coach Stephen Robinson
The Dungannon-born midfielder left Sheffield United in January and subsequently joined Motherwell on a short-term contract until the end of this season.
He was a regular in Stephen Craigan’s under-20 side at Fir Park and also made four first-team appearances.
