Goalkeeper Roy Carroll will be aiming to seal a treble in his debut season at Linfield as they face Coleraine in the Tennent's Irish Cup final.
The Northern Ireland International signed for Linfield after being released by Notts County last summer and has shown after winning the County Antrim Shield and Danske Bank Premiership that he made the right decision in joining the Belfast side.
Carroll is now only one game away from completing a treble but knows they will have to earn it on Saturday, he said: "It's been a good season so far by winning the League and the County Antrim Shield but it's going to be a difficult game against Coleraine. We know what they can do, they have had a very good season and in a Cup final you never know.
"We will have to go out and give it our all because there's a lot of players who were here last season (When Linfield lost to Glenavon in the 2016 final) and were obviously disappointed.
Carroll has experience of playing at the very top level, such as in the UEFA Champions League with Manchester United and the 39 year old still has the same passion to be competing for honours, he said: "Every season you want to win trophies and that's why I am at Linfield, because I want to win trophies.
"We won the league last weekend and now this weekend we go in on a high, enjoying training and looking forward to it.
"Everyone wants to play in a final as it's the last game of the season and you want to be involved but the main step is now going out and winning it.
With all this experience comes wisdom which Carroll shared ahead of the big day on Saturday: "Of course you are going to have nerves and hopefully there will be a big crowd here. All you can do is go out and give your best. You have to try and get rid of them nerves before the start of the game, concentrate and work hard from there.
