Next month’s top of the table clash between Northern Ireland Women and Poland Women will be played at Seaview, it was confirmed today.
The 1-0 home victory over Romania earlier this week meant Northern Ireland stayed in second place in League B Group 1 of the UEFA Women’s Nations League with seven points from four games.
Poland have 10 points after four matches. They consolidated top spot in B1 after they drew 1-1 with third-placed Bosnia and Herzegovina (four points) in Zenica this week. Romania are bottom with a single point.
Northern Ireland’s final games in the group are at home to Poland on Friday 30 May and away to the Bosnians on Tuesday 3 June.
It has now been confirmed that the first v second game between Tanya Oxtoby’s side and the Poles will be staged at Seaview on 30 May (7pm start).
