Niall McGinn was on target with his 14th goal of the season as Aberdeen demolished Dundee 7-0 at Dens Park on Friday evening to consolidate their second place in the table behind champions Celtic.

Defender Jonny Evans believes West Bromwich Albion deserve credit for their defensive display following their scoreless draw against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
After the game much was made in the media of United’s misfiring strikers but the 29-year-old feels that takes away from the Baggies' excellent performance against Jose Mourinho’s costly assembled outfit.
“We worked very hard for that,” declared Evans.
“All the lads were saying that was the hardest point we have had to work for all season and it took a lot of effort.
“It is still a daunting place to come. I noticed coming here our concentration levels went through the roof.
“You could feel the tension and anticipation for this game. It’s the biggest away game of the season and it will always be like that.
“It takes a lot of effort. It might look easy from the outside but you are constantly on the move.
“We've had two games now where people were saying they are 'on the beach’ but we have proven that’s not the case by beating Arsenal and drawing at Manchester United.”
Winger Shane Ferguson, who missed Northern Ireland’s win over Norway because of suspension, chalked up his fourth goal of the campaign as Millwall kept alive their hopes of a play-off place in League One with an impressive 3-1 home success over Scunthorpe United.
Elsewhere, defender Craig Cathcart provided an assist for Watford’s winner over the Premier League’s bottom side Sunderland while there were assists also for Ben Kennedy (Stevenage), Ben Reeves (MK Dons) and Liam Boyce (Ross County).
Finally, there was positive news for international manager Michael O’Neill after central defender Luke McCullough made his first start of the season for Doncaster Rovers, who won 5-1 at Grimsby Town to stay six points clear at the top of League Two.
The 23-year-old from Portadown had initially been ruled out for the entire season after sustaining cruciate ligament damage before the start of the current campaign.
