East Belfast Ladies cruised to an impressive 7-0 victory over Carrick Rangers Ladies in the first round of the Irish FA Women's Challenge Cup.
The game kicked off in the middle of an unseasonal hailstorm but to their credit both sets of players battled through it.
Naomi Graham opened the scoring for East Belfast after just five minutes before Ashleigh Murray doubled their advantage 10 minutes later.
As much as Carrick tried to take the game to their opponents they fell further behind after half an hour when Graham not only doubled her tally but followed that up moments later with a superb finish from just inside the area to seal her hat-trick.
Then Helena Pless extended East Belfast's lead during the opening exchanges of the second half.
Despite the scoreline, Carrick kept plugging away and enjoyed periods of possession but they fell further behind when Stacy Blyth knocked in a sixth goal for East Belfast with 10 minutes to go. Genevieve Hanna then completed the scoring right at the end.
