Northern Ireland under-21 midfielder Ben Kennedy has penned an extension to his contract which will see him remain at League Two Stevenage until the summer of 2019.
The highly-rated 20-year-old, who has scored nine goals in 36 appearances for the club this term, has been a major factor in Stevenage’s push for automatic promotion from League Two this term.
“Ben is a unique talent,” Stevenage chairman Phil Wilson told the club’s official website.
“He is a big-game player and we have worked hard to develop him on and off the pitch since he came to us from Northern Ireland four years ago.”
Lisburn-born Kennedy, who also has nine assists to his credit this season, is one of five Northern Ireland players who have been involved with the Stevenage first-team this term.
