Today marks the 100-day countdown until Northern Ireland host and compete in the 2017 UEFA Women’s Under 19 Championships.
The tournament kicks off as Northern Ireland play their opening match at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park on Tuesday 8th August at 7pm.
Their opponents are still to be decided as the two remaining qualifying groups are to be played, the final of which concludes on 12th June.
Northern Ireland could face England, Scotland, Italy or The Netherlands as they look to the final draw on Thursday 22nd June.
As the tournament approaches Northern Ireland manager Alfie Wylie is stepping up his team’s preparation as they welcome Europe’s elite.
Having just returned from a training camp in Spain, he said: “The countdown is now on. It is 100 days until the biggest day in the girls’ playing careers to date. From now until the start of the tournament every day is an opportunity for the players to improve through their daily training programmes.
“We have just been in Spain on a week-long training camp which was a great help to our preparations.
“This tournament is an amazing opportunity not only for the team but for women’s football in Northern Ireland. The girls are continuing to work very hard for place in the team.”
Tickets are now on sale for the below Northern Ireland fixtures, Semi-finals and Final via the Ticketmaster website priced at £5 for an adult and £3 for a child (aged under 16).
