
Northern Ireland’s Women’s Under-16 squad will be taking part in a UEFA development tournament in Malta next month.
They are set to face Latvia, Ghana and the Maltese in the four-team mini tournament, which is being staged at the Centenary Stadium in Ta’Qali.
WU16s head coach Danielle McDowell Tuffey, who will be assisted by Julie Nelson, has selected a 20-player squad to make the trip.
The Malta Football Association has not yet confirmed the fixtures, however the match days will be 4, 6 and 9 March.
The Northern Ireland WU16 squad for the UEFA development tournament at Ta’Qali is as follows:
Goalkeepers – Sophie Glover and Zara McAvoy (both Crusaders Strikers), Madison Bell (Linfield Women).
Defenders – Chloe Beckinsale, Daisy Moore, Lily-Brooke Wallace and Holly Hilton (all Crusaders Strikers), Grace Campbell (Lisburn Rangers).
Midfielders – Charlotte Havern, Mirjana Karrabecaj and Lauren Morrison (all Linfield Women), Heidi Curran and Emilee Leacock (both Crusaders Strikers).
Forwards – Ava Hurl, Ruby Adair, Abbie Smyth, Aoife Gargan and Grace McAllister (all Linfield Women), Maja Stachura and Charlotte Flanagan (both Crusaders Strikers).
