Northern Ireland Under-21 international midfielder Terry Devlin has signed a new deal with Championship outfit Portsmouth.
The new contract means he will extend his stay at Fratton Park until the summer of 2028.
The 21-year-old, who has been mainly utilised as a right back this season, played a total of 94 Irish League games for both Dungannon Swifts and Glentoran before making the switch to England's South Coast in June 2023.
Speaking to the club website, Pompey boss John Moushino said: “Terry has developed at an incredible rate since arriving from Northern Ireland ahead of last season.
“The fact that he’s come over here to play regularly in a different country at such a young age – and in different positions – is very impressive.
“He’s already exceeded our expectations and is someone who never gives less than 100 per cent every time he steps on to the pitch.”
The Cookstown native has won 14 caps for Tommy Wright’s Under-21 side and he was an unused substitute for Michael O’Neill's senior team in Northern Ireland’s 4-0 defeat in Finland in November 2023.
Devlin, who helped Portsmouth to the League One title last season, came off the bench last weekend in the 2-1 win over QPR to make his 50th appearance for the club.
