A Northern Ireland Women’s Under-15 development squad will be competing in a UEFA development tournament in Bulgaria at the end of this month.
The WU15s are due to play against their counterparts from Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria in the tournament in the city of Sliven, which is located in east-central Bulgaria in the foothills of the Balkan mountains.
Game one for Northern Ireland is against Romania on Sunday 29 September (16:00 local time, 14:00 BST).
Two days later, on 1 October, they will face Hungary (11:00 local time), and their final game is against hosts Bulgaria on Friday 4 October (16:00 local time).
Head coach Stephen Graham has chosen a 20-strong squad for the tournament. He will be assisted by Heather Mearns. The Irish FA’s Girls Elite Youth Academy Manager, Danielle McDowell Tuffey, will also travel with the squad.
