Tickets for UEFA Women’s Euro play-off on sale

Tickets are now on sale for the second leg of Northern Ireland’s Women’s Euro 2025 play-off against Croatia.

Tanya Oxtoby’s side are due to face the Croatians home and away next month in the first round of the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 play-offs.

And if they defeat Croatia in the two-legged contest they will face the winners of the R1 tie between Norway and Albania home and away in a play-off for a slot at UEFA Women's Euro 2025 in Switzerland.

The home play-off match against the Croatians is being staged at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park on Tuesday 29 October (7pm kick-off).

The first leg is being played in Croatia on Friday 25 October (venue and kick-off time TBC).

Tickets for the game in Belfast are priced at £14 for adults and £7 for juniors, with group offers available at £10 for adults and £5 for juniors (for groups of 10 or more). Tickets are available at irishfa.com/tickets.

If Northern Ireland progress to R2 of the play-offs they will face either Norway or Albania at home first. The games would be played end of November/early December.

The seven winners of Round 2 home-and-away ties will join hosts Switzerland and the teams that finished in the top two positions in the four UEFA Women’s Nations League - League A groups in the 16 December finals draw in Lausanne, Switzerland. The direct qualifiers are Denmark, England, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Netherlands and Spain.

Northern Ireland Women have previously played Croatia five times, winning four matches and losing one. The teams last met in the Istria Cup in 2016 when a Kirsty McGuinness goal gave Northern Ireland a 1-0 win.

In the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking list (August 2024) the Northern Ireland senior women’s team are in 45th position and Croatia are 57th.
