The Irish FA, Ulster GAA and Ulster Rugby jointly hosted the annual Multi-Sport Youth Forum ahead of this week’s international match between Northern Ireland and Bulgaria.
A total of 27 young volunteers participated in the Multi-Sport Youth Forum, which focused on sustainability in sport.
During the session - it was facilitated by Keep NI Beautiful (KNIB) and the National Trust - the young people explored the issue of climate change and how sport can play its part in helping the planet.
The Multi-Sport Youth Forum aims to bring together young volunteers from across the three sports to explore key issues relating to volunteering and sport.
The forum is a good opportunity for the young people to learn about each other’s sport and to socialise together to enjoy a game of football.
For many of the young volunteers it was their first time in the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park. This element helps to break down barriers and build good relationships between young sports volunteers.
