Ahead of their crucial Euro qualification double header, we caught up with Northern Ireland senior women's forward Lauren Wade.
The Glasgow City star is homing in at a shot at a UEFA Women's Euro play-off but to get there she knows the goal is nothing less than six points against Belarus (Friday, 7pm) and Faroe Islands (Tuesday, 7pm).
“We’re under no illusions that Belarus are a great side and I think the preparation that we’ve put into this game has been second to none and we’re all excited and looking forward to it,” said Wade.
“I feel a real sense of appreciation when I’m here with Northern Ireland and I love coming away with the group. The coaches have a real belief in the squad. That gives us time on the ball to relax and just play our game. You can see by the results that it’s paying off for us.”
