We have a very special team of 11 virtual mascots for the final match of UEFA Nations League campaign tonight.
The mascots for our home match against Romania were all nominated by the Green and White Army and at least one person within their family are key workers. From NHS staff to schoolteachers, mechanics, drivers or supermarket staff – they have all worked incredibly hard throughout the pandemic.
While they and their families can’t be with us in person at the match due to COVID-19 restrictions, during the build-up to the game they each received a Northern Ireland home kit, goodie bag and a personally signed letter from boss Ian Baraclough thanking them for their support.
They will also feature in tonight's official match day programme.
Tonight's mascots are: Charlie Blair (7), from Ballyclare; Poppy Calvin (7) from Coleriane; Lucas McMaster (9) from Moneyrea; Mia Singleton (11) from Ballyclare; Leah Harkness (8) from Omagh; Aaron Humphrys (10) from Fivemiletown; Harvey Wright Di-Maio (12) from Dungannon; Caitlin Carlisle (12) from Carrickfergus; Kyle Ferguson (11) from Antrim; Owen Finlay (10) from Greenisland and Jonah Bovis (10) from Annahilt.
