Following last night’s announcement by the Northern Ireland Executive to impose further Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, there will be a ban on supporters attending elite level games from 27 November.
This will include the Northern Ireland senior women’s UEFA Euro Group C qualifiers against Belarus (27 November) and Faroe Islands (1 December) at Seaview. Both games will now be played behind closed doors.
In addition football training and matches below elite level remain suspended. This includes Irish FA Foundation programmes, including Electric Ireland Shooting Stars, McDonald's Fun Football and McDonald’s Small Sided Games Centres, and protocols laid out in the Irish FA's 'A Return to the Everyday Game' document remain suspended until this new lockdown is concluded.
Non-contact, non-football training, with groups of up to 15 people will also be prohibited from 27 November.
