The Green and White Army will be able to watch the Northern Ireland men’s Under-19 team in action on home soil in the coming days.
The U19s are set to play Faroe Islands twice in friendlies this week – and there will be free entry to both matches.
Game one is tomorrow (1 September) at Mourneview Park in Lurgan (3pm start), while the second is at The Oval in east Belfast on Friday (3 September) and once again there will be 3pm kick-off.
There will be stewarding in place at both venues to ensure spectators observe social distancing.
The encounters against the Faroese will be the final preparations for Gerard Lyttle’s U19 side ahead of matches against Czech Republic, Denmark and Kazakhstan (Group 13) in a four-team mini tournament in the qualifying round for the next U19 Euros.
The European qualifiers are pencilled in for 6-12 October in the Czech Republic, although match venues have still to be finalised.
