Northern Ireland U19s will gear up for Euro qualifiers in October with two home friendlies against Faroe Islands U19s in early September.
Gerard Lyttle’s side are due to face the Faroese on Wednesday 1 September at Mourneview Park in Lurgan (3pm start).
And the second match against the Faroese is set to be played at The Oval in east Belfast on Friday 3 September (3pm start).
The games will be the final preparations for the U19s ahead of matches against Czech Republic, Denmark and Kazakhstan (Group 13) in a four-team mini tournament in the qualifying round for the next U19 Euros.
The European qualifiers are pencilled in for 6-12 October in the Czech Republic, although match venues have still to be finalised.
Earlier this summer the U19s defeated a Dundalk Select 2-0 in a friendly at Oriel Park thanks to goals from Terry Devlin and Rio McEvoy.
The U19s squad for the friendlies against Faroe Islands is due to be named next week.
