Football fans across Northern Ireland are being encouraged to attend the semi-finals of this season’s Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup.
The two games are set to take place tomorrow (27 August) and the Irish FA’s Women’s Challenge Cup Committee, which oversees the competition, is urging fans to go along to the matches to support the semi-finalists: Glentoran Women, Cliftonville Ladies, Sion Swifts Ladies and Crusaders Strikers.
The entry charge per game is £5 (£3 concessions) and there are no testing requirements for spectators.
Cup holders Glentoran Women and Cliftonville Ladies will contest their last four tie at Clandeboye Park in Bangor (7.30pm kick-off).
And Sion Swifts Ladies and Crusaders Strikers are set to meet at Mill Meadow in Castledawson. Again it’s a 7.30pm start.
All four teams will be aiming to book a place in the final of the 2021 Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup, which is set to be played on Friday 15 October at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park.
