Northern Ireland Women face Republic of Ireland at Mourneview Park in Lurgan on Tuesday 19 September in their first home match of their FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying campaign.
Admission to the match is free of charge and no ticket is required. Kick-off is at 7.30pm.
A free family fan zone with inflatables, face-painting and balloon modelling will take place inside the ground from 5.30pm to 7.15pm.
Alfie Wylie’s squad hosts a number of talented players, some enjoying full-time football, playing in England, Scotland, Iceland and Northern Ireland.
Rachel Furness (Crystal Palace Ladies), Simone Magill (Everton Ladies), Laura Rafferty (Brighton and Hove Albion), Rachel Newborough (Doncaster Rovers Belles), Ciara Sherwood (Crystal Palace Ladies), Jade Lindsay (Hamilton Academicals Women) and Lauren Brennan (Grindavik Ladies) are all in the squad alongside well known local-based players like Marissa Callaghan (Cliftonville Ladies), Julie Nelson (Crusaders Strikers) and Kendra McMullan (Sion Swifts Ladies).
