“I’ve been captain before; I did it in the last game (against Finland) when Steven Davis came off at half-time and I was able to take over his role and it was a great feeling," said Evans, who has been capped 40 times for his country.
"Looking back, when you see the pictures from the game and you have the armband on, it is a special feeling.”
