Northern Ireland senior men’s team manager Michael O’Neill has named his squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Luxembourg and Bulgaria.
There are no new faces in his 25-strong panel, however there are several returnees.
Northern Ireland are set to play Luxembourg in UNL League C Group 3 at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park in Belfast next Thursday (5 September).
And then they will be facing Bulgaria in a C3 game at Stadion Hristo Botev in Plovdiv on Sunday 8 September.
The Luxembourg game will have a 19.45 BST kick-off, while the game in Bulgaria is scheduled to start at 17.00 BST.
There are six changes to the squad for the start of the latest UNL campaign compared to the 26-strong panel chosen for the friendlies against Spain and Andorra in June.
Among the returnees are five players who missed the trip to Spain in early summer after being selected for the March friendlies against Romania and Scotland.
They include experienced defender Paddy McNair, currently on loan with West Bromwich Albion from MLS side San Diego FC, Millwall midfielder George Saville and Preston North End midfielder Ali McCann.
Also back in the squad are goalkeeper Luke Southwood, who is now with Bolton Wanderers, and striker Shayne Lavery, who signed for Cambridge United this summer.
Kilmarnock midfielder Brad Lyons returns to the fold after a lengthy sojourn. His last game was against Slovenia in Belfast almost a year ago. He was called up for Euro qualifiers last November but had to withdraw through injury, and it was a similar story for the friendlies in both March and June.
Seven players who were involved back in June are not included this time.
Stevenage striker Jamie Reid misses out through injury, while St Mirren winger Conor McMenamin is crocked, too.
Striker Dale Taylor, who has just gone on loan to Wigan Athletic from Nottingham Forest, and Forest defender Aaron Donnelly, who both featured in the 2-0 win against Andorra in June, have been drafted in to the U21s for their upcoming home Euro qualifiers against England and Ukraine.
Another player switching to the U21s is Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Pierce Charles.
Also not included this time are Manchester United defender Jonny Evans, who yesterday announced his retirement from international football after earning 107 caps for his country, and his brother Corry, who is still searching for a club after leaving Sunderland at the end of last season, although the experienced midfielder has been training with an EFL Championship club.
