Northern Ireland’s Women’s Under-19 team will face Estonia, Kazakhstan and Georgia in stage two of the qualifiers for Women’s U19 Euro 2024.
And the Women’s U17s are set to take on Malta and Luxembourg in the second phase of qualification for next year’s WU17 Euros.
The WU19s have been drawn in League B Group 5. The dates/host for the four-team mini tournament have still to be confirmed, however games have been scheduled to run between 21 and 28 February or 2 and 9 April.
The six group winners and the runner-up in League B with the best record against the teams finishing first and third in their group will be promoted to League A for 2024-25 round one.
Northern Ireland’s Women’s Under-19 team were relegated to League B for the second phase after producing some spirited performances in League A in the qualifying first round of WU19 Euro 2024.
The Group A1 mini tournament featuring Northern Ireland along with France, Italy and Hungary was staged in the Occitanie region in southern France at the end of October.
Northern Ireland lost to France and Italy and drew with the Hungarians.
The WU17s were relegated to League B for phase two after losing all three of their games in League A last month.
They were up against England, Belgium and Hungary in the UEFA Women’s European Under-17 Championship 2023-24 Qualifying First Round (League A6), which was hosted by the Hungarians.
The dates/host for the WU17s’ three-team mini tournament (Group B5) have still to be confirmed, however the games must be played by 24 March.
The winners of six groups and the runner-up in League B with the best record against the teams finishing first and third in their group will be promoted to League A for round one of qualifiers in 2024-25.
