The Irish Football Association’s grassroots department donated free footballs to the Downpatrick Youth Football League’s Small–Sided Games Centre.
The donation gave over 300 players aged 6-10 the opportunity of four fun hours of football.
The Downpatrick Youth Football League and co-ordinator Paul Moore must be accredited for the well organised Centre which runs so smoothly, giving the young players the opportunity to enjoy their football free of pressure.
Irish FA Regional Grassroots Development Officer Seamus Heath was impressed, “To witness so many young children playing is a sight to see, especially as it is some of the players first ever game on their footballing journey.
“The DYFL defiantly have a fantastic product which is being rolled out fantastically well.”
