Glenavon player/manager Gary Hamilton says his side can beat any team on their day as they face Danske Bank Premiership leaders Crusaders on Friday night in the Tennent's Irish Cup semi-finals.
Hamilton, who led Glenavon to Tennent's Irish Cup success in 2014 with a 2-1 win over Ballymena United, believes his side can once again lift the trophy in the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park.
He said: "Cup competitions is our best chance of lifting trophies...On our day we have proved we can beat any team and we have done so over the last two years home and away."
On the way to that Tennent's Irish Cup trophy two seasons ago, Glenavon overcame Crusaders at this same stage but Hamilton is expecting a different test this time around: "Since then we have improved alot but so have they. They have won a league title since then and look like they are going to do it again this season. They are the in-form team in the league, the best team in the league and top of the league for a reason."
