The Irish Football Association has renewed its partnership with sports software company Pitchbooking.
The Northern Ireland-based company provides software to manage sports facilities and events, from online booking and payment to marketing, operations and analytics.
Pitchbooking first teamed up with the association in October 2021 and the partnership renewal covers a further two years.
The company, which is an official partner of the Irish FA (non-exclusive), works with more than 3,000 facilities across the UK, Ireland and further afield, including councils, schools, commercial sports centres, amateur sports clubs and sporting bodies.
Pitchbooking provides bespoke booking software for Irish FA programmes, including McDonald’s Fun Football and football camps.
The company is particularly keen to support additional sports facilities throughout Northern Ireland, delivering additional revenue and reducing admin time faced by facility owners, via their online bookings and payments software.
Kate McKay, Client Success and Engagement Manager at Pitchbooking, said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with the Irish FA.
“There are few more rewarding relationships out there than working directly with the Irish FA team to deliver their range of programmes, including the Irish FA Football Camps, McDonald’s Fun Football and Disney Playmakers girls’ camps.
“On top of this we are excited to continue supporting the development of football locally by working with additional facilities across Northern Ireland, including local councils, schools and Irish FA-affiliated clubs.”
Stephen Garrett, Senior Commercial Manager at the Irish FA, said: “We are delighted to renew our partnership with Pitchbooking, a trusted partner that brings convenience and accessibility to our McDonald’s Fun Football and Irish FA football camps.
“The company’s innovative booking solutions have been invaluable in helping us expand the reach and impact of these programmes, allowing more young players and families to experience the joy of football across Northern Ireland.”
