A Northern Ireland Under-15 team will be competing in a UEFA development tournament next week – on home soil.
All of the matches in the four-team tournament are due to be staged in either Newry or Warrenpoint. And it’s free entry to all of them.
Providing the opposition for Northern Ireland next week will be Faroe Islands, Latvia and Luxembourg.
First up for Northern Ireland is a match against the Faroes on Monday (13 November) at Newry Showgrounds, home of Newry City, with a 7pm start.
Earlier that day Luxembourg and Latvia will meet at Warrenpoint Town’s Milltown Stadium (3pm).
Matchday two is next Wednesday when Luxembourg will face the Faroes (Milltown, 3pm) and Northern Ireland will take on the Latvians (Newry Showgrounds, 7pm).
Northern Ireland will be at Newry Showgrounds once again for their final game – against Luxembourg on Saturday 18 November, while Milltown will host Latvia v Faroe Islands that day. Both games are scheduled to kick off at noon.
Head coach Michael McClean has chosen a 20-strong Northern Ireland U15 panel for the three fixtures.
All of the players are involved in the Irish FA’s JD National Performance Programme or the JD Academy apart from midfielder Freddie Murdock, who is based in England.
