A Northern Ireland Under-15/U14 girls’ development squad will be taking part in the Foyle Cup next week.
Coach Stephen Graham, assisted by Heather Mearns, has chosen an 18-strong squad to compete in the international youth football tournament – in the boys’ U13 section.
Their first game at the Foyle Cup, on Monday (17 July), will see them take on Maiden City Colts, while Sion Swifts will provide the opposition the following day.
Both games are scheduled to have 3pm starts. The venue for the match against Maiden City is Clooney Park West 1 in Derry-Londonderry, while the game against Sion is due to be played at The Glebe in Strabane.
In their final group game on Wednesday they will be up against Cootehill Harps from Co Cavan. That match will also kick off at 3pm - at Prehen Playing Fields in Derry-Londonderry.
The WU15/U14 girls will then play further games at the tournament next Thursday and Friday which will determine overall positions in their section.
