Northern Ireland Under 21 star Alfie McAlmont has put pen to paper on a new contract with Premier League outfit Leeds United.
The midfielder has signed a four-year deal to stay with Marcelo Bielsa’s side until the summer of 2024.
McAlmont, 20, who has flourished with Northern Ireland U21s under the watchful eye of Ian Baraclough, was handed his full international debut by former senior men's boss Michael O'Neill in a friendly against Luxembourg last September.
McCalmont has been a regular for Leeds’ Under-23s over the past few seasons and made his United debut last August in a 3-0 victory over Salford City in the Carabao Cup.
