Northern Ireland under-21s take on Malta tonight Friday 6 September at the Ballymena Showgrounds in a UEFA Euro Qualifier.
The 2021 U21 Euros qualifying campaign gets under way with a 7:30 kick-off tonight in Ballymena followed by an away game against Finland on Tuesday 10 September. They will also face Denmark, Romania and Ukraine in Group B.
Manager Ian Baraclough has won nine of his 13 games with the Under-21s, losing only twice with one of those losses being to Spain in an impressive campaign last year.
Ciaron Brown, Ethan Galbraith and Alfie McCalmont all got call-ups and made debuts for Michael O'Neill's senior team against Luxembourg last night so it remains to be seen how Ian will set up against Malta.
Entry to the Showgrounds is free or you can follow updates of the game across our social media channels @NorthernIreland.
