Northern Ireland midfielder Louise McDaniel has signed for Blackburn Rovers Ladies.
The 19-year-old makes the move to Lancashire from Linfield Ladies and is the team’s fifth signing of the summer.
McDaniel, who has been handed the number 14 shirt at Rovers, created history in 2017 by becoming the first Northern Ireland women’s player to score at a major tournament. Her goal came in a 1-1 draw with Scotland at Mourneview Park during the Women’s U19 Euros.
Rovers’ new recruit has competed in the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers for the Blues and won three league titles, three League Cups and two Women’s Challenge Cups.
