Stephen Frail believes his side's first match against Switzerland is a big chance to build some momentum in the tournament.
His Under-17 side travel to Malta to take part in a qualifying stage of the UEFA Under-17 Championships.
He said: "It's important we get something against Switzerland then that sets us up for the rest of the games.
"These players are in the early stage of their career and hopefully they can progress after these three games."

The under-17s begin the journey to the 2018 finals against Switzerland on 26 October, then follow that up by facing Belgium on 29 October before finishing against the hosts of the four-team tournament on 1 November.
