Northern Ireland U19 defender Lauren Robson believes the UEFA Women's Under 19 Championships can show how far the Women's game has improved in recent years.
The Championships, which begin on 8 August and run till the final on 20 August, will see Northern Ireland take on some of the best in Europe on home soil.
And Robson hopes to show their talents to those that attend: "If young girls and the whole country come out to support us then they will see how far the women's game has come on and that will aspire them to play football."
The Linfield defender has risen up through the ranks and on getting the chance to play in a European finals she said: "I think it'll be an amazing experience. Not just for the squad but for the whole country as it's the first Women's team to be in a finals."
