Match details for next month’s UEFA Women’s Nations League play-off have been confirmed.
Northern Ireland were paired with Montenegro at December’s draw in Switzerland and venue, dates and kick-off times have now been confirmed.
The relegation / promotion play-off games will see the girls in green and white travel to Montenegro’s capital, Podgorica, for the opening clash at Gradski Stadion on Friday 23 February (1pm kick-off).
Then it’s back to Belfast for the return match on Tuesday 27 February at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park. This one is scheduled for a 7pm kick-off.
Tanya Oxtoby’s squad – who finished third in Group B1 of the inaugural edition of the competition – will be aiming to retain their spot in League B.
Two wins over Albania and a draw at home to Hungary left them with seven points while Republic of Ireland topped the group with a full house of victories and the Hungarians finished in second place. Albania propped up the table with a solitary point.
Montenegro finished as runners-up to Azerbaijan in Group C3 with 12 points from six games.
