The Clearer Water Irish Cup sixth round clash featuring Glentoran and Ballymacash Rangers is set to be streamed live by BBC Sport NI.
The Glens, winners of the Irish Cup 23 times, progressed to the last 16 of this season’s competition thanks to Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe’s late winner against Annagh United last weekend.
Lisburn-based Ballymacash Rangers made sure their name was in the hat after an extra-time 3-2 success at Oxford Sunnyside with two goals from Michael Moore and a Carl McComb header.
Ballymacash, who ply their trade in the NIFL Premier Intermediate League, will be hoping to record a major upset against Warren Feeney’s NIFL Premiership outfit when the two sides meet at the Bluebell Stadium at Rushmore Drive in Lisburn on Friday 2 February.
The match is to be shown live on BBC iPlayer and on the BBC Sport NI website.
The tie is set to kick off at 7.45pm.
The seven other matches in the Clearer Water Irish Cup sixth round are due to be played on Saturday 3 February. Those fixtures include Ballyclare Comrades v Dungannon Swifts, Cliftonville against Loughgall, Institute v Ards, Larne against Glenavon, Linfield v Ballymena United, Newington versus Newry City and Portadown against Bangor.
