Northern Ireland prospect Kofi Balmer is the latest player to feature in YouTube series NI Next Gen.
Balmer made the move to Crystal Palace in August, signing an initial one-year deal.
He had plied his trade with NIFL Premiership side Larne before his move to south London. Prior to that he wore the sky blue of Ballymena United.
The 22-year-old from Newtownabbey has already caught the eye of Palace manager Patrick Vieira, who has included him in first team squads for The Eagles in the Premier League.
Having had a long spell with Northern Ireland U21s since his late teens Balmer was named in the men’s senior squad for the UEFA Nations League matches against Kosovo and Greece in September.
In the latest episode of Next Gen he discusses his grounding in the Irish League, adapting to life at Palace, his family’s valuable support and we also get boss Vieira’s take on the promising defender.
