The fonaCAB Junior Cup has been whittled down to the last 64 following Saturday's second round ties.
The designated 'tie of the round' saw NAFL 2C side Beann Mhadaghain welcome Fermanagh & Western visitors Strathroy Harps to The Valley.
It was a long journey for Harps but a worthwhile one as they ran out 3-0 winners thanks to a goal in each half from Eoin McAnulla topped up by a Tommy Murphy strike with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining.
Much interest was also focused on the repeat of last year's final when Bangor YM hosted Coalisland Athletic at the Bloomfield Playing Fields and once again Coalisland emerged victorious with goals from Kevin Lavery, Daryl Magee and Aaron Kerr.
Top scorers on the day were Foyle Wanderers with a whopping 13-goal haul at home to Upperlands, with Matthew Smyth and Raymond Curry both helping themselves to four each.
Shamrock also hit a baker's dozen as they swept past Colin Valley II with Enniskillen Rangers also reaching double figures with twelve past Belfast Celtic Reserves.
In addition to the aforementioned Foyle Wanderers duo of Smyth and Curry, Crumlin United II's Gerald Mallon also bagged four goals as did Immaculata II's Laughlin McCurdy.
There were hat-tricks also for Shamrock pairing Chris Allen and Tony McGuire while Ryan Campbell (NFC Kesh), Cormac McConnell (Fintona Swifts), Gareth Milligan (Killen Rangers), Daniel Brown (Raceview), Brandon Hassan (4th Newtownabbey OB), Warner Ballantyne (Dergview Reserves), Sean Ferris (Celtic Bhoys), Keith Johnston (Newry Celtic), Mark Sloan (St. Oliver Plunkett II) and Enniskillen Rangers' Jason Keenan also claimed the match ball.
