The Northern Ireland senior women’s team’s friendly international against Italy in Belfast next week is to be streamed live by the BBC - on BBC iPlayer and on the BBC Sport NI website.
The Italians arrive with a place at next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup secured, while the home side will be looking to record their third victory in a row.
Like Northern Ireland, Italy also took part in UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 in England back in the summer and they are ranked 14th in the world.
The game at Seaview on Tuesday (15 November) kicks off at 7pm and the BBC’s coverage will feature commentary from Michael Clarke and former international captain Gail Redmond.
Kenny Shiels’ side come in to the game after wins against Luxembourg and Latvia in FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers in September – and they will be keen to finish what has been an historic year with a positive result against strong opposition.
The game will be livestreamed on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport NI website from circa 7pm next Tuesday.
