Northern Ireland’s Women’s Under-19s will face Kosovo, Cyprus and Latvia in stage two of the qualifiers for the 2022-23 edition of UEFA Women’s U19 Euro.
And Northern Ireland’s WU17s are set to come up against Turkey and Armenia in the second phase of qualifiers for the 2022-23 edition of UEFA Women’s U17 Euro.
The WU19s are scheduled to compete in League B Group 3 in the spring. Northern Ireland will host the four-team mini tournament matches on 4, 7 and 10 April.
The winners of the group will be promoted to League A for 2023-24 round one.
The WU17s, meanwhile, are set to compete in League B Group 5 in the spring. The games are due to be played between 23 and 30 March with the host nation for the three-team mini tournament still to be confirmed.
The group winners, and the runner-up with the best record against the teams first and third in their section, will be promoted to League A for 2023-24 round one.
The round two draw for the current WU19 competition was made at UEFA HQ in Switzerland by Lucy Watson, captain of last season's England team, who also received the Respect Fair Play trophy on behalf of her squad.
Northern Ireland were in the top seeding pot for the League B draw. Kosovo are second seeds in the group, while Cyprus and Latvia were in Pot 3A and Pot 3B respectively.
Back in October the WU19s were relegated to League B for stage two of the 2022-23 edition following League A group defeats against France, Republic of Ireland and Poland.
The round two draw for the current WU17 competition was also staged at UEFA HQ.It was made by Nina Brnić, captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina team at the 2022 finals, who received the Respect Fair Play trophy on behalf of her squad.
