The Samuel Gelston’s Whiskey Irish Cup fifth round tie between Dundela and Cliftonville is to be streamed live by the BBC.
The clash between the Duns, who currently lie third in the NIFL Championship, and the Reds, who are fourth in the race for the NIFL Premiership title, is set to be staged on Friday 6 January (7.45pm).
The game at Dundela’s Wilgar Park stadium in east Belfast will kick off a feast of cup football that weekend, with the remaining 15 matches in the fifth round due to be played the following day.
Coverage of the cup clash, which will be shown on the BBC Sport NI website, is due to begin as kick-off approaches.
Round five of the Irish Cup is traditionally the stage where the 12 teams that make up the NIFL Premiership and the 12 teams in the NIFL Championship enter the competition alongside eight intermediate sides who have already battled their way through four rounds.
