Northern Ireland are back in action today in a UEFA U16 development tournament.
The final match of a three-game run will see the young squad take on Peru this afternoon.
The team, led by Gerard Lyttle, will be aiming to bounce back from a loss to tournament hosts Albania and a penalty shootout defeat to Luxembourg.
Despite results Lyttle has been pleased with the team’s progress – particularly how they have dominated long periods of matches.
After Tuesday’s defeat to Luxembourg, he said: “We created lots of chances, were brave in possession and we were excellent in our press. The big learning is knowing how to manage a game when you go ahead and how to stay focused throughout.”
Northern Ireland’s final game of the tournament against South American opposition kicks off at 1pm GMT.
