Tickets are now on sale for the Northern Ireland senior women’s team’s home World Cup qualifier against Austria on Tuesday 26 October (7pm start).
The game is set to be played at Crusaders’ Seaview stadium in Belfast (pictured, below) and comes just a few days after Kenny Shiels’ side take on England Women at Wembley.
England and Austria are the first and second seeds in European Qualifying Group D respectively and Shiels is expecting both games to be tough encounters.
Austria defeated Latvia 8-1 away and North Macedonia 6-0 at home in their opening fixtures in the group in September.
Northern Ireland also got their qualification campaign off to a good start. They began their quest for a place at the Women’s World Cup in 2023 – it is being hosted by Australia and New Zealand – with a 4-0 win over Luxembourg in Larne followed by a 4-0 victory over Latvia in Belfast last month.
Adult tickets for the Austria game at Seaview cost £10 - members of GAWA Official get a 50% discount - and tickets for juniors are £2.
