Goalkeeper Trevor Carson said he was delighted to be back with the Northern Ireland squad this week following his recovery from deep vein thrombosis.
The Motherwell stopper, who has not played competitively since November when he developed DVT, was among a 20-strong panel taking part in a camp in Manchester.
“It’s been up and down for the past six months but I’m definitely through the other side of it and I’m buzzing to be back,” he said.
“I went for a general check-up with the doctor last month and he gave me the good news that I could come off the tablets on 10 May which meant that I could be involved with Motherwell on the last game of the season.

“Michael O’Neill said come along [to the camp] and keep your fitness up and it’s been brilliant. It’s just given me that little boost that I needed going into next season.”
