Northern Ireland Women's U17s are in European Championship qualifying action over the course of the forthcoming week.
Alison Nicholl's side are in Macedonia to face the group hosts, plus Bosnia & Herzegovina and Austria in Group 11.
The action begins on Friday (30th) against Bosnia & Herzegovina in Skopje's Boris Trajkovski Stadium before switching venues to the FFM Training Centre to face the hosts on Sunday (Oct 2nd) before returning to the Boris Trajkovski to take on group favourites Austria on Wednesday 5th.
The top two from the group qualifying for the Elite Round with only the two best third-placed sides from all 11 groups also progressing.
It will be a challenging task for the girls but Nicholl will be encouraged by their preparations, in particular a 2-2 draw with Poland in Ballymoney last month during which goals from Abbie Magee and Emily Wilson saw them race into the lead before being pegged back by the visitors.
"There are no easy games and Austria in particular are very, very good," she said.
"But we qualified from a group containing both Bosnia and Macedonia last time and we'll be targeting them again this time around.
"The girls have been given lots of training and every chance to properly prepare so we'll go to Macedonia with every chance of giving a good account of ourselves."
