Premier League outfit Norwich City have offered professional contracts to Northern Ireland under-19 internationals Joe Crowe and Jamal Lewis.
Both players, who were regular members of Stephen Craigan’s under-19 squad this season, have been offered two-year deals by the Norfolk club.
Crowe, a central defender who can also play in midfield, has played consistently for both the under-21 and under-18 teams at Carrow Road this term as has Lewis who can play at either left-back or on the left wing.
Meanwhile former Newcastle United trainee Paddy McLaughlin has signed a new two-year contract with Vanarama National League side Gateshead.
The 25 year-old from Larne started his career at St James Park but was released by the club without making a first team appearance. He subsequently went on to play for York City and Grimsby Town before linking up with Gateshead last summer.
