Continuing with our Coach Education programmes, we have some opportunities for new and existing coaches coming up in Belfast.

Belfast IFA Level 1 courses

For coaches who are starting off on their coach education pathway, there are 2 Irish FA Level 1 Plus courses available very soon; both of which give new coaches the chance to complete the IFA Level 1 course within a week.

The first is at PlayBall, Stormont, starting on the 10^th May with the Irish FA Grassroots Introduction to Coaching Award on Tuesday 10^th May in the evening from 6:30-9-30pm, followed by the Irish FA Level 1 Award at the weekend over Friday 13^th, Saturday 14^th and finishing Sunday 15^th May.

We also have another IFA Level 1 Award as part of the National Coaching Weeks at Queens Sport, Upper Malone on 6^th-9^th June.

McDonald’s Community Coaching Day

Further to this, the McDonald’s Belfast Games Development Programme have a McDonald’s Community Coaching Day on Thursday 12^th May at PlayBall, Stormont.

This is a FREE event aimed at coaches with a team in Irish FA Small Sided Games Programmes and will consist of a themed outdoor coaching session for coaches to observe followed by 2 short theory sessions:

Sporting Mindset for coaches and players
Club Development presentation.
