Harry Cavan Cup Semi-Final Preview

The first Harry Cavan Youth Cup semi-final takes place tomorrow night (Wednesday 10th) when Lisburn Distillery III lock horns with Crusaders Colts at Solitude (kick-off 7:30pm).

The Crues reached the last four after a penalty shoot-out victory over Linfield Rangers in the quarter-finals while the Whites hit five without reply past Carrick Rangers Colts.

Prior to that Crusaders accounted for Dundela and Glenavon while Woodvale and Ballyclare Comrades were Distillery's victims in the earlier rounds.

The pair have met just once this season – back in November – when they shared two goals in a NIFL Youth League (Section A) game in Ballymacross.

Admission tomorrow night is £4 (adults) and £2 (concession).

The match officials are:-

Referee: Ben McMaster
Assistant Referees: Andrew Nethery and Joseph Wilson
Fourth Official: Matthew Gilchrist

In the event of a draw extra-time of 10 minutes each shall be played and should the scores still be equal the tie will be decided by the taking of kicks from penalty mark.

The second semi-final takes place next Wednesday (17th) at Seaview when Ballymena United III meet either Crumlin Star or St. Oliver Plunkett.
