The draw for the quarter-finals of the Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup is set to take place tomorrow (Friday, 4 August).
Round two matches took place at the weekend when holders Glentoran Women made sure their name was in the hat thanks to a 4-0 success at Larne Women.
Last year’s beaten finalists Sion Swifts eased to a 7-0 victory over Mid Ulster Ladies while Cliftonville Ladies (pictured, below) recorded a 7-2 win away to Linfield Women.
Crusaders Strikers bagged a 5-0 win as they played host to Bloomfield FC while Lisburn Ladies defeated Craigavon Ladies 5-1.
Ballymena United Women, Derry City Women and Lisburn Rangers Ladies FC are also one game away from the last four courtesy of victories over Valley Rangers Ladies, Ballyclare Comrades Ladies and Bangor FC Ladies respectively.
The last-eight matches of this year’s competition are set to be played Friday 18 August.
Details of the draw are expected to be made available early tomorrow afternoon.
