The business of sport is set to be discussed at a business breakfast in the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park next month.
NFS Events, the arm of the Irish Football Association which promotes the stadium as a conference venue and events space, is hosting the breakfast as part of its 2023 Business Leadership series.
Irish FA chief executive Patrick Nelson, Ulster Rugby chief executive Jonny Petrie and Brian McAvoy, chief executive of Ulster GAA, will be the key speakers at the event on Thursday 21 September (9am to 11am).
The three heads of Northern Ireland’s largest sports organisations will be sharing their insights and experiences on the challenges and successes of life in the sports industry, how to lead successful teams and what lies ahead for the future of sport.
Currency risk management specialist Alpha Group is partner of the Business Leadership series, while next month’s breakfast will also be supported by Sport for Business, the networking organisation which builds links between sport and business across the island of Ireland. And Rob Hartnett from Sport for Business will host the event.
Irish FA chief executive Patrick Nelson said: “I am looking forward to sharing the stage with my counterparts from Ulster Rugby and Ulster GAA.
“I am confident this event will provide valuable insights into how our organisations operate, the impact they have within Northern Ireland and how sport in general is adapting to a social and economic landscape that is ever changing.”
