Stephen Frail has left the Irish FA to take up the post of assistant manager at Scottish Premiership side Dundee United.
Frail, a native of Glasgow and who held the post of team manager for both the Northern Ireland U17 and U19 teams, spent four and a half years at the association.
Northern Ireland senior men’s team manager Ian Baraclough praised Frail’s tenure as he heads for Tannadice.
He said: “I’m delighted for Stephen to get this opportunity. He has been a real asset for the development of our underage groups and the association as a whole.
“He joined on my first trip as the U21s manager to Estonia and was a huge help to me during that period.
“He has been an asset from day one and we wish him every success in this new and exciting role.”
A replacement for Frail will be sought in due course.
